The Perfidy of Dogs

Thursday, October 25th, 2018 - 4:24 PM

I had to run to Coos Bay this morning.  It was a short excursion (for me) since I already did my Wally World trip for the month, and I was back home just three-and-a-half hours after I left.

That, however, was more than enough time for The Boys to jump up on my bed – I have to leave the bedroom door open for Ms. Molly – and run off with not one, but two (count ’em, two) remote controllers: one for the television and one for the streaming device.

And the little thieves are darned lucky that – when they absconded with my remotes – they managed to turn on the TV because if I hadn’t learned of their treachery before I went to bed tonight… well, it wouldn’t have been pretty.

The remotes aren’t anywhere in the house nor in the yard, and I can only assume they are amassing quite a pile of plunder under the porch – socks and electronic devices I know about, and I can only imagine what other valuables they’re hoarding.

The little finks.
